Lagos, Portugal



Lagos (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈlaɣuʃ], literally lakes, from the Latin lacobriga) is a municipality at the mouth of Bensafrim River and along theAtlantic Ocean, in the Barlavento region of the Algarve, in southern Portugal.
